I haven’t written anything here since September 2009. This blog previously worked as a place to write small critiques or thoughts on various matters so that I wouldn’t so easily forget them myself.
Since I stopped making these notes, I feel that when I read something seemingly important I won’t pause for reflection. At best, I write a few lines on Twitter or Facebook, but that obviously isn’t much of a reflection, at least not for my slow brain.
So it’s time to continue the writing. This could simply have been a notebook stuck in the bookshelf at home. But a public blog forces me to construct some kind of argument and dispose the text in a more or less logical way – that’s valuable exercise by itself since I’m not at uni anymore.
Just this post alone contains more text than what can be fitted into a social media update. What a liberation!
